Hi, An idea for the developers when they have nothing else to do: It would be nice if gdaltindex https://gdal.org/programs/gdaltindex.html could utilize the features of gdal_footprint https://gdal.org/programs/gdal_footprint.html and generate an index file of the footprints for a whole directory of files.
