Hello, I am a new gdal user (less than one month), trying to generate a raster with gdal_grid utility.
I was wondering why there isn't a smoothing parameter with the invdistnn algorithm in gdal_grid? I am facing a problem where I would like to have both the nearest neighbours (to limit radius of influence) and the smoothing in the average computation, but maybe I misunderstood the purpose. If you think that adding a smoothing in this case is relevant, I can submit a PR with a patch suggestion. Best,
