Thanks for taking the time to describe your work in the right amount of detail. I think you need a C++ maintainer to indicate their willingness to accept your patch in principle, and then in final form. In the meantime, for such a significant patch, you are going to need to get your copyright assignment paperwork cleared up before the patch can be accepted. Do you have one yet? Cheers, Ben
