I begin to wonder what is the benefit of not skipping common bidirectional
ranges here?
Code below for random access ranges will call operator- (which is O(1))
and equal. The bidirectional case will decrease the range n2 times.
Should we just check random_access_range?

Did you mean to optimize bidirectional common not sized ranges, by handling
them without computing distance:
