Thanks, pushed. And you were right, this cgi emitting a html meta
http-equiv isn't the best way to do it. I actually wish I had the time
and energy to figure something better out. But already pulled into too
many different directions/projects at the moment.

I don't think we can drop the gitweb URLs, there are too many
references to it. Aarsen wrote cgitweb which rewrites gitweb urls to
cgit urls. https://git.sr.ht/~arsen/cgitweb
We could install that if people are happy with the cgit default.
So the old gitweb urls keep working.
