Hi all,

The gcc-patches list recently saw a couple of bounces of emails that
didn't pass dmarc policy (with p=reject) with spf and dkim failing.

All people who got unsubscribed because of this have been resubscribed
again.

To prevent getting email on the list that don't pass a strict dmarc
policy we have set RejectFailures true in out opendmarc config:
https://sourceware.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=32255

This means sending email from a dmarc p=reject policy might get
bounced/rejected by gcc.gnu.org/sourceware.org before going to the
list. This should prevent mass bounces for all list members.

There might be other reasons for these failures though, discussed in:

https://sourceware.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=31905

If there are more of these bounces we might have to enable From
rewriting again for the gcc-patches mailinglist.

Cheers,

Mark
