Possibly the comment refers to the problems raised in http://gcc.gnu.org/ml/fortran/2008-12/msg00167.html However, both of the code snippets given there are correctly treated by the current trunk, so I guess these issues have been taken care of by now and one can remove the FIXME (anyway, it does not really seem to apply directly to the check it precedes, or maybe I just fail to see how).
