ASSOCIATE names are (wrongly) initialized by -finit-real=*, thus, their values are wrong.The fix seems to be rather obvious, but I am not really an associate expert.
I'd say it is obvious. OK for trunk, also OK for backporting.
I am unsure whether to put it into 4.7.1, though. Opinions?
