Sorry for the trivial change, but I think this would be slightly neater as:

      /* V8DI only guarantees 8-byte alignment, whereas TImode requires 16.  */
      auto mode = STRICT_ALIGNMENT ? DImode : TImode;
      int increment = GET_MODE_SIZE (mode);
