FWIW, this version is not usable as is. Something went wrong in my testing, and several regressions only visible in hosted mode made to the version I posted, that adds some missing end-of-comment markers for the added dg directives, and moving the new dg directive to the end so as to not disturb line numbers. I've got a fully fixed and properly tested version, but since it's about as big as the original patch, I'll only post it upon request.
