OK, thanks for the clarification. Asking on top of that: Is it possible to configure gcc on sparc* with -mv8plus enabled by default? There seems to be only an option for setting the default value for -mcpu=, but -mv8plus doesn't seem to be supported as a default baseline in configure. Adrian -- .''`.
