two more Solaris issues (will file proper PRs tomorrow):
* Solaris 11.4 <sys/uio.h> uses bzero in an unused macro, also poisoned
* Solaris 11.3 requires -lsocket -lnsl for socket functions, cc1plus
fails to link. 11.4 is fine, folded those into libc.
