That gets me E: You must put some 'source' URIs in your sources.list where /etc/apt/sources.list looks like deb http://ftp.ports.debian.org/debian-ports sid main deb-src http://ftp.ports.debian.org/debian-ports sid main which googling suggests is what I want? Bernd
