Can we just make it easier to switch nodes? There is no reason to get possessive of one node. There is plenty of power in the farm to handle the outright abuse of the 30+ users with access to it. Maybe we can connect all the nodes' home directories with nfs to allow easy switching of nodes? My 2 cents.
