This is a Slackware 9.1 system running kernel 2.4.26 glibc 2.3.2 Crash occurs after issuing "make" to compile 2.6.9 kernel. GCC crashed with a segmentation fault at fs/namei.c:1520 I think this was just a one-time anomaly. I retyped "make', and it happily resumed. Please let me know what other information is required.
