We decided not to backport fix to the hangs on generator always returning zero
prior to eariel releases, as it does affect the output on the distributions for
well-formed programs and this is not a non-conformance issue (the behavior is
undefined). The GCC 17 release already contains some other output changing
fixes.
The fixes for handling generator that returns non-zero from min() is
back-ported to 14.5, 15.4 and 16.3, as it only affects such generators.
