I notice that the fixincludes/fixinc.sh script is single threaded.

On machines with only a few header files ( < 1000 ?) this
doesn't matter much, but some machines (i.e. mine) have 70,000
header files.

I use the following script to make sure the filesystem caches are not cold:

# Start
find /usr/include -name \*.h -print | wc -l
for i in `find /usr/include -name \*.h -print | awk -f awk.in`
do
        echo $i
        head -1 $i > /dev/null
done
# End

where awk.in is

{ 
        if ((NR % 16) == 0) print $0;
};

This script and the awk file reduce a build time from 2-3 hours
to about 35 minutes on a 16 thread / 8 core machine.

Does fixincludes/fixinc.sh script need to made more parallel I wonder ?
