[Bug rtl-optimization/124441] The `volatile` keyword will block the optimization of replacing temporary variables in the `expand/TER` RTL pass.

Also this is someone who just wanted to write this assembler directly but with
c++.

I think the snappy code is specific for the compiler version too.

This code all seems should just be in c and let the compiler do the
optimization but Google is google.
