Bug ID: 118628 Summary: gcc/tree-vect-stmts.cc:10642: Possible read of uninitialised data ? Product: gcc Version: 15.0 Status: UNCONFIRMED Severity: normal Priority: P3 Component: c Assignee: unassigned at gcc dot gnu.org Reporter: dcb314 at hotmail dot com Target Milestone: --- clang says: gcc/tree-vect-stmts.cc:10642:11: warning: variable 'offvar' is used uninitialized whenever 'if' condition is false [-Wsometimes-uninitialized] working $ grep -n offvar ../trunk/gcc/tree-vect-stmts.cc 8642: tree offvar; 8787: insert_after, &offvar, NULL); 8801: running_off = offvar; 10600: tree offvar; 10676: &offvar, NULL); 10681: running_off = offvar; working $ It looks like clang is complaining about the second case. The first case might be worth fixing too. Suggest initialise offvar at it's declaration.
