--- Comment #7 from Sam James <sjames at gcc dot gnu.org> --- I'm not sure what to suggest for this if it's an ancient wrong-code bug which seems to have been legitimate but was latent as of 2013. Could easily have been fixed properly since. Needs proper analysis before that commit, I guess.
