--- Comment #14 from Jakub Jelinek <jakub at gcc dot gnu.org> --- I don't see why it wouldn't, it uses the same code for handling % in the string as is used for extended asm inside of functions. Nothing before that actually parses/interprets the format string, the restrictions are about what subset of constraints and what operands are allowed.
