This succeeds with our gcc-8.3.0 build:
$ /opt/build/china/gcc-8.3.0/.obj/prev-gcc/xgcc
-B/opt/build/china/gcc-8.3.0/.obj/prev-gcc -xc -nostdinc /dev/null -S -o
/dev/null -fself-test=/opt/build/china/gcc-8.3.0/gcc/testsuite/selftests
-fself-test: 40028 pass(es) in 1.020000 seconds

We have a build running that seems to be going well. We are using gcc-4.9.4 to
build 8.3.0. I will attach the current patch set we are building against.
