I don't know why anything decided that pattern needs splitting -- it matches
alternative 2 just fine afaics. You don't show what decided this needs a
split.
This pattern was deleted five years ago. As Richard says, please try 7.4 or
later?
Oh, and you use -mvle. There is no mainstream GCC release that has that
option.
Please report this problem to whoever gave you this compiler.
