It looks that on powerpc feenableexcept fires exception on stalled exception flags (these were raised when certain exception was disabled). Other than that, exception may fire in ieee_procedure_exit, where we enable state we had on entry (that may have enabled various exceptions), and directly re-raise possibly stalled exceptions.
