It would need to be handled by tree-vect-generic.c lowering it to VEC_PACK_* / VEC_UNPACK_* / VIEW_CONVERT (for noop) sequences. I suppose this bug is about unoptimal code being generated currently. If so please open an enhacement request for __builtin_convertvector.
