We don't rely on order of edges for say GIMPLE_COND either, but determine which one is which by EDGE_FALSE_VALUE vs. EDGE_TRUE_VALUE. For GIMPLE_SWITCH, I think it should just determine the label, from that find which bb it is in and find the corresponding edge.
