FWIW, the leading comment describing format_warning_va/format_diag_va needs rewording; likewise the comment about /* Functions for emitting a warning about a format string. */ Otherwise, the patch looks reasonable (though am not sure if I have approval rights on this one). Did this ever get posted to gcc-patches?
