I think it would be useful for these targets to at least build in config-list.mk runs so the failure of each doesn't need to be manually checked. As for the vms targets there is at least an argument to be made that a configuration that builds but is not safe is less broken than a configuration that doesn't build at all. That said if nobody cares about vms ia64 can we just obsolete it?
