The intrinsic storage_size is accepted in an initialization expression since
4.9 (rejected with -std=f95 or -std=f2003). AFAICT there is no intrinsic
size_of, but sizeof (see
https://gcc.gnu.org/onlinedocs/gfortran/SIZEOF.html#SIZEOF) as a GNU extension
since 4.9.
Note that 4.8 is no longer supported.
