I think TDF_GRAPH docs should simply be adjusted. Yes, separate files would be nice but then we should have dump infrastructure to say allow FILE *f = dump_start_graph ("constraint1"); ... write to f ... dump_finish_graph (f); producing a dump file .033t.ealias.constraint1 for example (that is, create sub-dumps with custom suffix). But in the end it's all debugging anyway...
