--- Comment #9 from Jakub Jelinek <jakub at gcc dot gnu.org> --- For the option of not folding this to MEM_REFs before objsz pass, I'd note this could be just about the &MEM_REF cases, if there is an actual memory access, so we aren't taking the address of the MEM_REF, then we can use MEM_REF as before. Similarly if we are folding &a + 4 into &MEM_REF[&a + 4] it would be fine, just we'd avoid doing that early for &a.field + 4.
