I am compiling gcc-4.9.2 with gmp, mpfr, and mpc source directories in the gcc-4.9.2 source tree. There is nothing disconcerting about not passing --with-* to the configure script, as per the directions found on https://gcc.gnu.org/install/configure.html . Kind regards, Matt
