--- Comment #22 from Ian Lance Taylor <ian at airs dot com> --- I'm not sure why you say that it must not be the way it works. It is the way it works. The recent change to Go 1.4 is that the -a option does not apply to the standard library. I don't know whether that is a good idea or not.
