Looks like a bugzilla bug. (PR588​53 links to PR588​...)
When I search for 588​53 on gcc.gnu.org/bugzilla it expands to 
http://gcc.gnu.org/bugzilla/buglist.cgi?quicksearch=588%E2%80%8B53&list_id=74236
instead of
http://gcc.gnu.org/bugzilla/buglist.cgi?quicksearch=58853
(Where is that strange %E2%80%8B coming from?)
