The failures of class_optional_2.f90 should be fixed with r195814.
I'm removing the regression tag, but will leave open the PR, in order to track
the remaining issues:
* check the things mentioned in comment 15
* the NULL case in comment 16 is rejected
* comment 17
* comment 19
