Bug #: 54001 Summary: GDB Regression: FAIL: gdb.go/methods.exp: setting breakpoint at main.T.Foo Classification: Unclassified Product: gcc Version: 4.7.2 Status: UNCONFIRMED Severity: normal Priority: P3 Component: go AssignedTo: i...@airs.com ReportedBy: jan.kratoch...@redhat.com CC: d...@google.com Target: x86_64-unknown-linux-gnu 20120630 -> 20120701 I see regression PASS->FAIL for FSF GDB HEAD and FSF GCC HEAD. Still I am unable to reproduce the PASS case now. Any FSF GCC 4.8.0 fails for me with: FAIL: gdb.go/methods.exp: setting breakpoint at main.T.Foo FAIL: gdb.go/methods.exp: setting breakpoint at (*main.T).Bar It PASSes with Fedora gcc-go-4.6.3-2.fc16.x86_64. But I was told FSF GCC Go in 4.6.x is unsupported/broken so I do not have its FSF GCC builds. GCC 4.6.x PASS case: (gdb) b 'main.<tab><tab> main.T main.T.Foo main.init main.main GCC 4.8.x FAIL case: (gdb) b 'main.<tab><tab> main.Bar.pN6_main.T main.Foo.N6_main.T main.init main.main main.m...@got.plt main.main@plt (GCC 4.7.x behaves like GCC 4.8.x.)
