Maybe your "expect" or Tcl is too old? Minimum requirement is not stated at
<http://gcc.gnu.org/install/prerequisites.html> (itself a bug), but for me,
expect-5.43.0-19.fc12.x86_64 and tcl-8.5.7-5.fc12.x86_64 (in Fedora version
parlance, with base version numbers as obvious) works for me.
