No, the testcase links fine for me as with both gcc and g++ 4.6.0, on
Solaris 10 as well as 11. I don't have OpenIndiana anywhere to try this
myself.
I see that gcc is configured to use GNU ld, against the strong advise to
use Sun ld in the installation guide.
