So, you get twice a segfault running the compiler:

configure:15421: /Users/rlewis/src/gcc-4.6.2/build/./gcc/gfortran
-B/Users/rlewis/src/gcc-4.6.2/build/./gcc/
-B/usr/local/x86_64-apple-darwin11.2.0/bin/
-B/usr/local/x86_64-apple-darwin11.2.0/lib/ -isystem
/usr/local/x86_64-apple-darwin11.2.0/include -isystem
/usr/local/x86_64-apple-darwin11.2.0/sys-include    -c -g -O2  conftest.f >&5
f951: internal compiler error: Segmentation fault: 11
Please submit a full bug report,
with preprocessed source if appropriate.
See <http://gcc.gnu.org/bugs.html> for instructions.
configure:15421: $? = 1
configure: failed program was:
|
|       program foo
|       real, parameter :: bar = sin (12.34 / 2.5)
|       end program foo
configure:15425: result: no

Now, can you try to run this:

/Users/rlewis/src/gcc-4.6.2/build/gcc/f951 -quiet test.f

where test.f contains:

       program foo
       real, parameter :: bar = sin (12.34 / 2.5)
       end program foo

If it segfaults, please run it again inside gdb and try to get us a backtrace.
