After some interactions with IBM AIX support there is a fix https://www-304.ibm.com/support/docview.wss?uid=isg1IV06344 and after that the assembler doesn't crash any more and works as well in the same time. It has been validated on AIX 6.1 TL6 with GCC 4.5.2
