And my bets are going to version-script issue. I am not 100% sure, but it looks pretty likely, as version-scripts are used for doing export definitions. I just sent a patch about it to binutils ML and this issue seems to exists already for some time. I am curious that Dave didn't noticed it earlier. I stumbled about it by doing a binutils regression-test for 32-bit COFF targets.
