Hmm, some kind of inlining problem maybe? There's a thread on the main GCC list at the moment about problems with WHOPR, so I don't know to what extent it's supposed to be working. I also see that the command has ended up with -fwhopr but not -flto, I was under the impression you had to use -flto always when using -fwhopr. You appear to be testing by compiling libclamav, yes?
