There may be a few local code changes (Daniel mentioned email handling) to carry over (it's quite possible newer versions don't need code changes for whatever the local changes do, but have some better way to achieve the desired effect), as well as converting the database schema. I expect we can get you a copy of the database if you'd like to help with the conversion.
