Actually, the decltype variant isn't a SFINAE issue either; SFINAE only applies
to function templates because it's part of deduction.  For a simpler example:

template <class T>
struct A
{
  void f (T::type);
};

A<int> a;

This is ill-formed, we don't discard f from A<int>.
