OpenSolaris users must upgrade Sun's Linker if they wish to use it.


Currently, OpenSolaris 2009.06 works correctly and outputs this on query:

# /usr/ccs/bin/ld -V
ld: Software Generation Utilities - Solaris Link Editors: 5.11-1.1639
