I remove that path before, because i fear clashes between the x86 cygwin compilers and old 3.4 68k compilers and binutils. maybe in the as script can add text on fail, "as File not found" ?.this make clear that problem is not in gcc configure when i add the path to my 68k compiler /usr/local/amiga/bin in search path (bin/lib/include) files and do the whole compile again does this work and is safe to use X86 cygwin and 68k compilers together in path ?
