http://gcc.gnu.org/ml/gcc-patches/2008-08/msg01903.html is incorrect. Back it out from IRA branch fixed the testcase in comment #11. I am running SPEC CPU 2000/2006 with IRA branch using revision 139581 and revision 139582 on Linux/ia32 and Linux/Intel64.
