Instrumented patch emits C code which can be used to test for incorrect VRP predictions. I ran such tests and found no such incorrect predictions. Either patch is buggy in some subtle way or it exposes a latent bug elsewhere :( -- http://gcc.gnu.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=28632
