Whereas I do not see it, neither with -m32 nor -m64 on x86-64-linux (openSUSE Factory); not even using valgrind. This is with gfortran 4.4.0 20080409 (experimental) [trunk revision 134131] -- http://gcc.gnu.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=35864
