There will never be any version independent documentation, as that is too hard
to maintain.
There is how ever a top of the trunk documentation located at:
http://gcc.gnu.org/onlinedocs/gcc/
http://gcc.gnu.org/onlinedocs/cpp/
etc.
I am going to close this bug report as won't fix as we already have
documentation which does not have a version number in it for the top of the
trunk and it is hard to have a version independent docuementation really.
